Studio 22 is a beautiful 6200-square foot dance facility with 4600 square feet of dance floor space. Every month, there are over 100 group classes, nightly practice sessions and social parties. All partner dance classes are 90 minutes long and taught by Dallas’ top instructors. Studio 22 is committed to offering dance instruction at an affordable rate without having to pay expensive dance packages. With the increased exposure of partner dancing in the media, many people have become interested in the benefits of ballroom and social dancing. Not only is it a fun way to stay in shape but it is also a great social outlet.

Studio 22 is modeled after the largest and most successful dance studio in Los Angeles. After living in Dallas for over five years Sergey Korshunov and Michelle Hafle saw a need to create a fun and positive environment where people could go to get the best dance instruction at an affordable rate. Nowhere in Dallas can you find such highly trained professionals teaching so many different styles of partner dancing from beginner, to advanced, to competitive levels.

ABOUT THE OWNERS

Sergey Korshunov is a current professional competitor in the International Latin American division. He travels all over the world competing in the most prestigious competitions with his partner, Michelle Hafle. Together they are ranked two-time U.S. Professional Rising Star Latin Finalists and 2009, 2010, & 2011 British Open Rising Star Quarterfinalists. He has worked extensively with Mark Cuban prior to his appearance on Dancing With the Stars and has choreographed for Emmit Smith during his debut on the show. In 2007 Nike hired Sergey to choreograph and perform at one of their exclusive events with Carrie Ann Inaba. Since Sergey's partnering with Michelle he has also been invited to perform at such locations as the Virgin Islands, Cancun, Los Angeles, as well as many local events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 2008 and 2009 he was invited to dance on "Baile Deportivo", aired on Fox Latino Sport, and in 2006 and 2007 he was invited by WFAA's Good Morning Texas to be the official commentator for the Dancing With the Stars show. Sergey began dancing at the age of nine as an Amateur and eventually in 1998 he gained the title of St. Petersburg Standard Champion in his division and the following year he received an award as the top Latin couple.

Michelle Hafle is a current professional competitor in the International Latin American division. She travels all over the world competing in the most prestigious competitions with her partner, Sergey Korshunov. Together they are ranked two-time U.S. Professional Rising Star Latin Finalists and 2009, 2010, & 2011 British Open Rising Star Quarterfinalists. She has worked extensively with Mark Cuban prior to his appearance on Dancing With the Stars and has choreographed for Emmit Smith during his debut on the show. There she was able to work with Carrie Ann Inaba, Carman Electra and MC Hammer. She also performed at such events as the Los Angeles Salsa Congress and was hired as a permanent dancer for Wayne Foster's National Entertainment Company.
